All the Holiday Cheer Coming to Disneyland Resort in 2025
The most magical season begins at Disneyland Resort on November 14, 2025 and runs through January 7, 2026. Guests will have a holly jolly time with all the holiday magic at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the resorts! Here’s a look at all the seasonal entertainment and extras.
Disneyland
Believe…In Holiday Magic Fireworks Spectacular
Fireworks and flurries dance in the sky over the beautiful Sleeping Beauty Castle that is transformed for the winter with more than 80,000 lights. Even from “it’s a small world” Holiday, parts of Main Street, U.S.A., and Rivers of America, you can enjoy the snow!
A Christmas Fantasy Parade
From toy soldiers and reindeer to gingerbread cookies and jolly old St. Nick himself, this parade down Main Street, U.S.A. is a Disneyland holiday tradition! Throughout the merry parade, you’ll see Mickey, Minnie, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie, and the Disney Princesses!
Ride Overlays
Classic attractions like “it’s a small world” and Haunted Mansion get a special holiday transformation. It’s a small world Holiday puts a winter spin on the “happiest cruise the ever sailed,” complete with holiday songs and special costumes for the dolls. Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas takes over Haunted Mansion for Haunted Mansion Holiday. Sally, Oogie Boogie, and other residents of Halloween Town make an appearance in this frightful edition of the Haunted Mansion.
Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends
Head to Fantasyland Theatre for photo opportunities with Disney characters and Santa, crafts, and sing-alongs to holiday classics. You can also listen to A Christmas Carol, eat special holiday treats, or watch animated holiday shorts, including a brand new Disney Junior animated short.
Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour
If the holidays are your favorite time to visit Disneyland Resort, this daily 2.5-hour tour is the perfect way to learn all the details of Disneyland holiday traditions that draw upon traditions from around the world. The tour covers both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure and shares holiday stories of the Disney family. Included with the tour are a ride on “it’s a small world” Holiday, holiday treats, and a reserved viewing area for A Christmas Fantasy Parade.

Disney Festival of Holidays
This annual festival brings together Festive Food Marketplaces and multicultural live entertainment to celebrate the holiday season. There are tales and songs from Mirabel and her friends from Encanto, performances by Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland and Miguel from Coco, and holiday toy drummers in Paradise Gardens Park.
Disney ¡Viva Navidad!
Celebrate Latin American holiday traditions at Paradise Gardens Park through live music, crafts, special dishes, and appearances by Mickey, Minnie, and the Three Caballeros! On select days, the Three Caballeros host the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party with mariachis, folklórico dancers, Brazilian samba dancers, drummers, and 12-foot-tall mojiganga puppets of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Holidays at Cars Land
Cars Land gets into the Christmas spirit with lights, wreaths, and decorations as well as ride overlays with Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree. On Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl, cruise around to holiday tunes sung by Luigi. For Mater’s Jingle Jamboree, check out Mater’s decorated junkyard as you spin around in a tractor.
Downtown Disney
In addition to twinkling lights, holiday decorations, and snowfall at night, Downtown Disney will offer seasonal treats, sips, and live music. Help Chip and Dale search for ornaments by joining Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail scavenger hunt. For $11.99 plus tax, you can pick up a map and stickers to mark off where you have found the ornaments. Once you complete the map, you can return it for a special holiday keepsake.
Resorts
The resorts at Disneyland will be decked out in holiday cheer with several festive character dining experiences. New for 2025 is the Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast at Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian. For breakfast and brunch, Storytellers Cafe will host Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party. At Disneyland Hotel, there’s “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!” and Holiday Tea with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Even the Broken Spell Lounge will offer specialty hot chocolate and eggnog along with live jazz music on select days.
