December 2025: Most In-Demand Resorts for DVC Rentals
With January just around the corner, many DVC Members may be thinking of renting out any unused points to help cover annual dues. If you have ever wondered which resorts are most in demand, here’s a look at DVC Rental Store’s open listings to see which DVC resorts are the most requested as of December 2025.
What Is an Open Listing?
Open listings are guests’ DVC rental requests that have yet to be fulfilled. These include specific resorts, travel dates, and room types. When you browse the open listings, you can filter the results by resort, number of points, arrival or departure dates, or keyword to best match what you can book with your DVC points.
Which Resorts Are Most Popular?
As of the beginning of December 2025, there are 228 open listings. From this snapshot of 228 listings, here top 5 most popular resorts:
- Polynesian
Always one of the most popular rental requests, the Polynesian with its tropical vibes and monorail access has 33 requests. The Island Tower has added even more convenience to the Polynesian with more room types than just Deluxe Studios and Bungalows, beautiful terrace gardens, an additional pool and splash pad, and another restaurant, Wailulu Bar & Grill. At the 7 to 11 month window, Polynesian requests currently have Member payouts of $19 per point.
- BoardWalk
The charming BoardWalk Villas comes in second with 28 requests with payouts of $18 per point at the 7 to 11 month window. While the BoardWalk has seen some recent closures along its boardwalk (e.g., Jellyrolls, Big River Grille, and Promenade Fine Arts Galleries), the resort still has a lively atmosphere with fun sideshows at night, such as jugglers, singers, and magicians, and a convenient location between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
- Grand Floridian
Disney World’s flagship resort, the Grand Floridian, comes in a very close third place with 27 requests. The picture of Victorian elegance, the resort commands $18 per point at the 7 to 11 month window. Guests can now enjoy the refurbished lobby that features updated decor and a brand new bar called The Perch.
- Disneyland Hotel
The newest West Coast DVC resort comes in fourth place with 22 requests, surprisingly surpassing the nearby Grand Californian, which only had 13 requests. The Villas at Disneyland Hotel are vibrant with lots of details influenced by Disney animated films like Sleeping Beauty, Jungle Book, Princess and the Frog, and Fantasia. Members renting out points for the Disneyland Hotel at the 7 to 11 month window earn $19 per point.
- Beach Club and Riviera
For December 2025, it’s a tie! Beach Club and Riviera each had 18 requests.
The perfect place to stay any EPCOT festival, the Beach Club is a perennial favorite for rental requests. Besides its prime location, the Beach Club is beloved for Stormalong Bay, its feature pool. The Beach Club goes for a premium at $19 per point for the 7 to 11 month booking window.
Riviera is another wonderful DVC resort for stays focused on EPCOT. From Riviera, you are just a quick Skyliner ride away from International Gateway, the back entrance to EPCOT. At the 7 to 11 month booking window, Riviera goes for $15 per point.
