Disney Reveals NEW Details About Upcoming Attractions at Walt Disney World!

October 9, 2025
By

Disney has just lifted the curtain on some exciting changes and enhancements coming to Walt Disney World. Here’s everything revealed so far and what it means for your next Disney getaway.

Zootopia: Better Zoogether! (Animal Kingdom)

A 4D Party in the Tree of Life

  • Opens November 7th, 2025, in the Tree of Life Theater at Animal Kingdom
  • Annual Passholders get early preview access on November 5th and 6th via a day-of virtual queue system
  • DVC Members have their own preview from November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (registration opens October 23rd)

Hop to it! Zootopia: Better Zoogether! invites guests to become part of “Zoogether Day,” a citywide celebration featuring characters from the first movie and brand-new faces from Zootopia 2.

To create a “4D” experience, guests will don Carrot Vision” glasses that make certain characters appear to “jump” off the screen.

Also featured is the brand-new Audio-Animatronics figure of Benjamin Clawhauser, joining the action in person instead of just on-screen. He won’t be in his old ZPD uniform, but will be sporting glow necklaces, bracelets, and a glittery Gazelle T-shirt.

Frozen Ever After (EPCOT)

Getting an Upgrade

  • Early next year, the figures for Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff will be updated to a more “true-to-film” look.

Although the Frozen Ever After attraction has long featured beloved characters (Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf, and others), Disney has confirmed that new upgrades are on the way!

In early 2026, ten years after the ride was first opened, the Audio-Animatronics for Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff will be reworked to present a more “true-to-film” appearance, more closely matching their movie counterparts. Perhaps most notably, these figures will move away from projection-mapped faces (a technique previously used) and adopt more sculpted physical features for greater realism.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets (Hollywood Studios)

Coming Summer 2026

  • Additional Muppet Character(s?) coming Summer 2026

Disney is reimagining Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster with a Muppets twist, introducing Scooter as an Audio-Animatronics character for the first time.

Scooter will appear in the pre-show, trying to herd the Electric Mayhem band into position with help from a team of penguin audio engineers (because every band needs a little penguin precision).

Disney teases there may be additional Muppet figures in the attraction, though details are under wraps for now.

New updates such as these highlight how Disney is expanding their storytelling toolkit. Showcasing new characters in physical form (like Clawhauser and Scooter) bring sidekicks, comedic figures, and fan favorites into the guest experience in fresh, fun ways.

Facial realism and upgraded animation make characters feel more lifelike, bridging the gap between film and physical space.

Using these upgraded Audio-Animatronics across existing and brand-new attractions allows Disney to refresh beloved rides while adding fresh narrative layers.

We can’t wait to stay tuned with what these updates will bring.
