Disney World February 2026 Schedule: Events, Closures & More
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts is still painting the park and Cinderella Castle is ready for her makeover. Here’s a look at more of what’s on the Disney World February 2026 schedule of events. Below we’re including ongoing refurbishments as well. 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend February 26 – March 2
The Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend takes over Walt Disney World resort starting at the end of this month. If you’ll be at Disney World during this time, know there may be some slight early morning delays and cones and such for the course around property. Most of the magic happens very early before the parks open for the day. The events are as follows:
- Disney Princess 5K Friday February 27, 2026
- Disney Princess 10K Saturday February 28, 2026
- Disney Princess Half Marathon Sunday March 1, 2026
- Disney Princess Yoga Monday March 2, 2026
Frozen Ever After Reopens This Month
This popular Epcot attraction closed near the end of January for a quick refurbishment. The animatronics will be refreshed in a new, updated style. They featured projected faces and will now have a look similar to Hong Kong Disneyland.
Frozen Ever After reopens on February 12, 2026.
Cinderella Castle Painting Underway
You may notice some colors changing on Cinderella Castle on your visit this month. The castle’s new colors will be a muted gray and blue again, replacing the pink that debuted in 2020 for the 70th anniversary of the animated Cinderella film.
Last Chance to Ride Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will have its final day on March 1, 2026 and reopen as Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets in the summer of 2026. The Aerosmith pre-show is no longer running. This area of the queue has been closed off as Disney begins updating the attraction to the new version starring The Muppets.
Dinoland Now Closed
As of early February, the Dinosaur ride and the rest of Dinoland are now closed as the area transforms into a new Tropical Americas land.
Harambe Market Reopens This Month
With Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland closed, guests can find an updated quick service menu at Harambe Market. The new menu includes “classic staples—from burgers and wraps to a signature salad.” Harambe Market is located in the Africa section of the park at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
Disney World February 2026 Epcot International Festival of the Arts Concerts
The Epcot International Festival of the Arts continues through most of this month.
Small changes happen throughout the event like different artists appearing each week and art installations being refreshed like sidewalk chalk scenes.
The Disney On Broadway Concert series is in the America Gardens Theatre.
Show times are 5:30 pm, 6:45 pm and 8:00 pm.

Typhoon Lagoon Closes Feb 14, Blizzard Beach Opens Feb 15
For the last few years, Disney water parks have been operating one at a time. The parks are about to switch.
Typhoon Lagoon’s last day of operation is February 14.
Blizzard Beach reopens on February 15.
Then from May 26 to September 8 both Disney World water parks will be open.
The resort guest free Disney water park access returns this summer these same dates.
The Disney Water Park seasonal pass is available again for visits now through May 9, 2026.
These cost $89 for adults and $83 for children ages 3 to 9. Block out dates are from March 28 through April 5, 2026.
Park Closures and Ride Refurbishments in February at WDW
