Small changes happen throughout the festival like different performers in the concert series and different Outdoor Kitchen menus offered:

  • The Florida Fresh booth is open from March 4 to May 25.

Bob Iger Steps Aside as CEO, Josh D’Amaro Takes The Reins

Dana Walden & Josh D’Amaro

Bob Iger became CEO of The Walt Disney Company on October 1, 2005, taking over for Michael Eisner. The acquisitions of Pixar, Star Wars and Marvel are major milestones in Bob Iger’s legacy. Iger initially stepped down from the role in February of 2020 but returned less than two years later after an unsuccessful run by Bob Chapek.

Josh D’Amaro will begin his time as Chief Executive Officer on March 18, 2026. He has worked at the company since 1998. Josh D’Amaro’s more recent leadership roles have included Chief Commercial Officer at Walt Disney World, President of Disneyland Resort, President of Walt Disney World Resort and Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

With D’Amaro chosen to lead the company, Disney presents confidence and ambition for its parks sector which is widely recognized as its most celebrated line of business.

Cinderella Castle Painting Continues

Also good to know, when visiting Magic Kingdom, be aware the castle painting is happening and may appear to be more than one color from certain angles. The moat is also drained for this project.
