Disney World November 2025 Schedule: Events, Closures & More
The holiday season takeover happens early at Walt Disney World Resort. Over the first half of November, massive Christmas trees will go up in many Disney Vacation Club resorts and two different holiday events in the parks will debut for the year. Spaceship Earth reopened recently after a refurbishment and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival continues through November 22. Shortly after that, the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays starts on November 28. Here’s a look at more of what’s on the Disney World November 2025 schedule of events including closures and refurbishments and what’s new at the vacation kingdom. Here’s what you have to look forward to this month.
Must See at Disney World in November 2025
Zootopia Attraction Opens at Animal Kingdom
Join Judy, Nick and the rest of the herd for a new adventure at Disney World. Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opens on November 7 in the Tree of Life Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This replaces the It’s Tough to Be a Bug! attraction that was formerly in this space with a similar 4D style show. Put on your Carrot Vision glasses for the fun but you’ll also see a new Benjamin Clawhauser Audio-Animatronic in the theater.
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays Starts November 28
We all love an Epcot festival. This seasonal event is included with your ticket! Enjoy additional entertainment including the Candlelight Processional which features these two narrators this month:
- Constance Wu November 28 and 29 (New in 2025!)
- Jordan Fisher November 30

DVC Resort Christmas Decoration Changes
November is the month when the Christmas decorations go up at Disney World. The Disney Vacation Club resorts are home to the best displays with many hosting massive trees and nearby kiosks where you can buy special treats. Earlier this year, Disney shared the Grand Floridian gingerbread house would not go up this year due to the construction in the lobby.
Jingle Cruise Returns to Magic Kingdom
The festive Jingle Cruise layover is back at Magic Kingdom on November 3 for the holiday season.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a top, seasonal event at Walt Disney World with a special parade and themed fireworks. Tickets are selling fast for this popular event. See if there are any dates left if you want to go in 2025.
If you don’t plan to attend Mickey’s Very Merry but you’ll be at Disney World, it’s still good to know the dates to plan around them. The park will close early these nights but you may experience lower crowds on party days before the event starts. This is because many visitors tend to choose other parks over Magic Kingdom on party dates.

Note: It’s possible to see Magic Kingdom fireworks from many DVC properties. On party nights, you can enjoy the special firework displays right from your room or resort.
Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there’s another seasonal event to enjoy. Jollywood Nights debuted in 2023 and starts its third holiday season this month.

Walt Disney Presents Updated with New Exhibit Pieces
New at Hollywood Studios, the Walt Disney Presents exhibit has been updated. Details of upcoming Disney World additions have been added to the walk through display. This includes the Monsters land at Hollywood Studios, the Tropical Americas land at Animal Kingdom and the Cars area which is taking the place of Rivers of America at Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Continues: What’s New
The Epcot food and wine event runs through November 22 this year.

Eat to the Beat Concert Series November 2025
Different musical acts rotate throughout the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival with nightly showtimes of: 5:30 p.m, 6:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Park Closures and Ride Refurbishments in November 2025 at WDW
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World in November, remember these are also closed temporarily for refurbishment:
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom
- Disney Jr. Play and Dance! at Hollywood Studios
- Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom will reopen in December
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic at Magic Kingdom is closed for refurbishment November 1-22
November Weather at Disney World: Cooler Days Ahead
Hurricane season technically ends November 30 but the peak of the season has passed. We’re on to cooler weather in central Florida. You may need a jacket for early mornings and late nights at the parks.
