Disney’s Dining Reservation System Gets an Update
Disney already began making some strides when it changed the advanced dining reservation system last year. Now the latest round of updates for Disney World’s and Disneyland’s websites and apps adds further improvements to make it even easier to search for dining reservations.
Search Dining Availability Up to 10 Days for Individual Restaurants
Rather than searching just one day at a time, you can now view availability for up to 10 days at a time using a calendar that resembles the theme park reservation calendar. Days that are marked with a green dot have reservations available while those with a grayed out dot do not.
Search Among Multiple Restaurants for a Date Range
Now you can also cast a wider net when you search for dining based on a date range. Rather than only seeing results for one restaurant, you can view multiple restaurants that fit your search criteria. As with the individual restaurant searches, you can check availability for up to 10 days at a time.
Specify a Time Range
In the past, you could either set your search to find reservations all day or during the morning, afternoon, or evening. Now, however, you can narrow your search for reservations within a specific time range. Using a slider, you can set the earliest time and latest time that you would like to include in your search.
Filter by Location
Among the latest changes is an improved filter to search for reservations by location. For example, you can select a specific theme park or more than one theme park plus any resorts that are nearby those parks. There is even a separate filter for Disney Springs restaurants.
