How to Get the Highest Payout for Renting Your DVC Points
Renting out unused DVC points is a great way for DVC Members to earn some cash, but how can you ensure you get the highest payout possible for your points? Here are a few tips to maximize their value.
Rent Your Points Through the DVC Rental Store
Many DVC Members rent their points out through third-party DVC point rental companies to make the rental process easier and for peace of mind. However, if you want to make sure you are getting the best price for your points, rent your points with the DVC Rental Store. The DVC Rental Store offers the best payouts in the industry!
Put Your Points Up for Rent As Early As Possible
Payout rates are higher when you rent out your points between the 7 and 11 month window. For example, renting points for The Cabins at Fort Wilderness at the 7 to 11 month window currently earns you $19 per point. By contrast, points that are rented out within the 0 to 7 month window go for $14 per point.
Moreover, booking for a Guest between the 7 and 11 month window generally equates to better room availability, which makes it easier for you to successfully book the Guest’s desired reservation.

Rent Out Points from Popular Resorts
If you have more than one home resort, you may find that some DVC points are worth more than others. It all depends on Guest demand. When Guest demand is high for a particular resort, the point rental payout is generally higher for that resort.
Some perennially popular resorts are the Polynesian and Beach Club. Payouts for these resorts are currently $20 per point and $19 per point, respectively. Other resorts that currently have high payouts are the Villas at Disneyland Hotel ($19 per point), BoardWalk ($18 per point), and Grand Floridian ($18 per point).
Note: Pricing and Payouts are subject to change. Payout is verified at the time of claim.
