What Perks Do You Get From Renting a DVC Stay?
If you’re not a DVC Member and you rent points, you may be wondering if you get any of the perks that DVC Members get. While you aren’t eligible for DVC discounts or access to the DVC lounges, there are some great perks that come with staying at a DVC resort!
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours
With DVC resorts being Deluxe Resorts, DVC guests are eligible for Extended Evening Theme Park Hours! These two-hour events take place on select nights after the parks have closed to the public, which means shorter wait times for attractions. They normally take place at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom but occasionally happen at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
Early Theme Park Entry
Guests at DVC resorts also qualify for Early Theme Park Entry. With this benefit, Disney Resort guests can enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes before they open to the general public. This lets you get a head start on select attractions, including favorites like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Frozen Ever After, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
Complimentary Water Park Day
Through the end of 2025 and again in the summer of 2026, Disney Resort guests get complimentary water park admission on their check-in day! This benefit is available for Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach–whiever park is open on your check-in day. You can check the operating hours prior to your vacation to see which water park will be open.
Villas with More Space and Amenities
One of the best perks of staying at a DVC resort is having more space and more amenities! With larger rooms like One Bedroom, Two Bedroom, or even Three Bedroom Villas, there is plenty of space for your whole travel party. Plus, these villas have fully equipped kitchens and washers and dryers, so you can truly feel at home. Even the Deluxe Studios offer kitchenettes with mini fridges, microwaves, and toasters that you won’t find in a typical hotel room.
Community Halls

Access to Free Laundry Rooms
Although the Deluxe Studios, Resort Studios, Duo Studios, and Tower Studios lack in-room washers and dryers, DVC guests can use the laundry rooms for free. These laundry rooms are available to anyone staying in a DVC room, including guests who are renting DVC points.
