Which DVC Resorts Are Easiest to Book?
Renting DVC points is a great way to stay at Deluxe Disney accommodations for less! If you’re looking to rent DVC points, it’s helpful to understand that renting depends heavily on room availability. Besides making your reservation as soon as the booking window opens (11-months out from check-in), it also helps to choose a DVC resort with ample room inventory.
Below are the largest DVC resorts with the most rooms and the best odds of having your rental request fulfilled.
Saratoga Springs
Saratoga Springs is the largest DVC resort with 1,320 rooms. With such a large inventory, Saratoga Springs is often one of the easiest resorts to book even when making reservations at the 7-month mark or under.
The sprawling resort was beautifully refurbished and is a wonderful place to stay when you want a more peaceful setting. If you love all the shopping and dining at Disney Springs, Saratoga Springs is just a boat ride away. If you enjoy a leisurely stroll, there’s even a walking path from Saratoga Springs that leads you to the Marketplace side of Disney Springs.
Old Key West
Old Key West is the next largest DVC resort with 761 rooms. When you’re looking to get the most bang for your buck, Old Key West is a great choice. As the original DVC resort, it has the largest rooms by square footage and a low points chart, which translates into lower rental prices. For example, you can stay in a Three Bedroom Grand Villa for as little as 46 points per night. At newer DVC resorts, Three Bedroom Grand Villas often start at more than 80 points per night, which makes Old Key West quite a bargain.
Like Saratoga Springs, Old Key West is in a convenient location for visiting Disney Springs. From Old Key West, there is boat transportation that will take you to the dock at the Marketplace section of Disney Springs.
Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village
At Disney World, the next largest DVC resort is Animal Kingdom Villas. With Animal Kingdom Villas having two separate buildings (Jambo House and Kidani Village), most of the room inventory (458 of the 708 rooms) is actually located at Kidani Village.
Among the different booking categories available at Kidani Village, the Savanna View rooms have the largest inventory, which makes the Savanna View rooms the easiest to book. These rooms have incredible views of giraffes, zebras, and more–you can’t go wrong with a Savanna View room!
Plus, Kidani Village is currently undergoing a full refurbishment, and the rooms are the perfect balance of adding more modern amenities while preserving the African-inspired theming that makes Animal Kingdom Villas so immersive. Renovations at Kidani Village are expected to continue through May 2026.
